  3. Verify the imported content
  4. If it still fails

Examples are fictional and do not represent customer results. Use only facts you can support.

Check the original posting

Open the link yourself. If it requires sign-in, has expired or redirects to a job board home page, an import may not retrieve the description. Confirm the company and role before preparing an application.

Use the description, not a guessed replacement

Copy the job title, company, responsibilities, required qualifications and preferred qualifications from the original posting. Add a job manually in Target jobs and paste the description. Retain the source link for your own reference. Never paste passwords or private recruiter messages.

Verify the imported content

Compare the saved description against the original. Check whether salary, location, work authorization and mandatory qualifications are missing. Navigation menus and unrelated job listings are not requirements. Correct the text before running a check or using AI.

If it still fails

Save your work and try one posting at a time. Send the public URL and error message through Contact, without your resume or credentials. An inaccessible page is a limitation to handle, not evidence that the role is unsuitable.

Put the guide into practice

Keep your facts. Review your changes. Prepare the next application.
