Who we are

Information we collect
We collect the email address and password-derived credential needed for an account; resume and job-description text you submit for analysis; account usage, analysis-history previews, feedback, and upgrade-interest responses; and pseudonymous identifiers used for security, fraud prevention, and product measurement. We do not intentionally request government IDs, financial-account data, or sensitive personal information.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the analysis, operate accounts, prevent abuse, enforce limits, respond to requests, understand product demand, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
AI and service providers
To generate an analysis, we transmit the resume and job-description text you submit to our configured AI processing provider. We also use an operational analytics processor to receive product events, feedback, and account-related operational data. These providers process data on our behalf to provide the service. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share.
Cookies, security, and retention
We use essential HttpOnly cookies for account sessions and a pseudonymous browser identifier for product limits and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse and Resend to deliver verification emails. Verification links expire after 30 minutes. Analysis previews, feedback and events are removed from active JobPilot storage on subsequent writes after 30 days; upgrade-interest records after 90 days. After account deletion, keyed anti-abuse signals may remain for up to 30 days. Account records remain while the account is active. Copies held by our operations processor and backups are handled separately through our deletion process. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of account-related personal information by contacting the contact channel listed on our Contact page. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including for California residents, we will process requests as required by law after verifying the request. We do not currently sell or share personal information in a way that requires an opt-out link.
Children
JobPilot is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this policy as the beta evolves. We will post the current version and its effective date on this page.
